YESHUA SALVATION & EVANGELISM MOVEMENT
|
Welcome to YSEM "Hope for Every Nation"
Greetings in the gracious Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The Yeshua Salvation & Evangelism Movement (YSEM) pronounce as is a Christ-centered spiritual family serving the Nepali community in Gwangju, South Korea. Located in Wolgok-dong, Gwangsan-gu, our ministry brings together migrant workers, international students, marriage-based immigrants, and families, uniting them as one loving body in Christ. Through corporate worship, prayer, biblical teaching, and Christian fellowship, we are devoted to nurturing spiritual growth, strengthening faith, and equipping believers to live out the Gospel in daily life. We also honor and celebrate our cultural heritage as a reflection of God’s rich diversity and creative design. Within this community, every individual is warmly welcomed, deeply valued, and prayerfully encouraged to serve. We seek to empower each person to discover and use their God-given gifts, build meaningful and lasting relationships, and experience the transforming love of Christ—both in word and in deed. |
Our JourneyDaimari’s ministry began in India and extended to Nepal, eventually growing into a global and cross-cultural mission that has been active since 2000. Through faithful service and obedience to God’s calling, the ministry has expanded beyond regional boundaries and now reaches people of all nations and cultures. With a clear vision to proclaim the Good News, the ministry continues to carry the message of hope and salvation to the farthest corners of the world.

YSEM Summer Camp at Sangju was more than just a retreat — it was a life-giving gathering that brought together people from many nations, professions, cultures, and backgrounds into one loving family in Christ.
Held in the peaceful and refreshing environment of Ssangju, the camp provided a space where international students, workers, missionaries, and expats could step away from the pressures of daily life and experience spiritual renewal, emotional healing, and meaningful connection. Through worship, prayer, Bible sharing, group discussions, and fellowship activities, participants were encouraged to: 1.Strengthen their faith 2. Build genuine friendships across cultures 3. Experience unity in diversity 4. Restore hope, peace, and joy The camp helped break barriers of language, nationality, and social status, creating an atmosphere of love, respect, and mutual understanding. People who had never met before became brothers and sisters, sharing their stories, struggles, and testimonies. More than anything, the YSEM Summer Camp focused on building a healthy and supportive expat community — one where no one feels alone, forgotten, or disconnected. It reminded everyone that even far from home, we are part of God’s family, walking together in faith, love, and harmony. This retreat strengthened hearts, renewed spirits, and planted seeds for long-lasting relationships that will continue to bless the international and expat community in Korea. |

ISEM is committed to reaching people from all walks of life—without distinction or prejudice—embracing each individual regardless of their cultural, social, or spiritual background.
Our mission extends beyond the Nepali community to serve other worship fellowships and cultural groups. This includes supporting and partnering with the Filipino community worship service, “River of Life Christian Church”, based in Gwangju City. Through these partnerships, we seek to promote unity in the Body of Christ, provide spiritual nourishment, and address the holistic needs—both spiritual and practical—of those we serve. |
“From Distant Hills to Shared Hands: A Table of Faith, Love, and Home”Each Sunday at 5 p.m., the small sanctuary comes alive as Pastor Bakul Daimari leads worship for Nepali international students. The voices of the student praise team rise in harmony, filling every corner of the room with songs of faith and hope.
When the final “Amen” is spoken, the sanctuary transforms into a kitchen. Hands move with familiar rhythms, shaping momo dumplings just as they once did back home. The fragrance of Nepali spices mingles with the quiet hum of conversation, wrapping the space in warmth. Some wash fresh ingredients, others stir curry over gentle heat, while a few bow their heads in silent prayer. Around the table, bonds grow deeper than words, and the community feels warmer than the ache of homesickness. In this little corner of Korea, far from the mountains of Nepal, gratitude and sharing find a place at the table. Here, love is kneaded not by the hands of parents, but by the humble, learning hands of students—hands that fill not only plates, but hearts. |
